A return trip to the crossing on 9-27-20 finds some new orange tubing has gone in around the signals at the crossing! No major changes to the signals themselves yet though.

According to a police officer I chatted with later, apparently Cullman's putting in a quiet zone in their downtown area, which is apparently why these signals are being replaced. It's a shame, but hopefully the WCH mechanical bell gets re-used onto the new signals here.

EDIT 11-12-23: It appears that the conduit was just for rewiring the signals to the existing relay case, as it has since dissappeared, and some new conduit now sticks out of the side of the relay case near the base of it and goes into the ground.
