NS 325 passes the crossing with seven engines. |
Still passing... |
Two UP engines trail at the end of the lash-up. |
Another return trip to the crossing on 12-31-22 finds a couple changes here... |
No changes to the first signal, yet. |
The second signal has had the front-right light replaced with a newer Safetran 12x20!
I believe around this time, NS also upgraded the gate lights on this signal to the RECO LEDs, as I can make-out one of them behind the crossbuck, but I don't think I'd noticed at the time, so no close-up pictures of them exist. |
A third return trip to the crossing on 7-14-23 finds that the first signal has had its Safetran mechanical bell replaced with a Safetran Type 3 e-bell!
Admittedly, I wasn't too surprised by this, as the bells here had started to die the month before, with this one sounding especially weak, but it's still a shame to see one of them get replaced. |
A fourth return trip on 7-24-23 catches the crossing in action again! The remaining Safetran mechanical bell here is still dying, unsurprisingly. |
NS A04 trundles through with a lone SD40-2, running lite. |
The locomotive passes... |
...and the crossing deactivates... |
...only to reactivate just a few minutes later! |
NS 286 comes through with a pair of AC44C6Ms for power. |
The train passes... |
...and the signals deactivate once again. |
