An overview. |
The Westbound signal. |
||
This is not your typical crossing signal setup. Instead of using standard crossing cantilevers, traffic signal mast/arm assemblies are used. Volmont Industries is one company that makes them.
All of the lights are 12"x24" incandescent from WCH. |
|||
The lights and crossbucks on the masts are mounted about they normally would be. The lights on the arms are mounted above them using short extentions.

The mast lights. |
|
The crossbucks on the arms are mounted on the far side of the lights (closer to the centerline/crown) instead of the near side (closer to the curb/shoulder).

The WCH Type 3 electronic bell is mounted above this pair of lights. |

The DOT tag. |
Some traffic signal heads with amber lenses suspended over the track. These are used to show the crossing signals are active. They also appear to have been repainted and reused. |
