This crossing has three signals.
The two gated signals use McK&H Aust. 8 inch lights, General Signals Type-2 electronic bells, McK&H gate mechanisms, and lantern gate lights.
The third signal (seen in Picture 11) is gateless and uses Westinghouse 8 inch lights.
This crossing is on Victoria's list of the 50 most dangerous crossings, of which, they will all be removed and replaced with grade seperated crossings.
This crossing will be replaced with a project called "Skyrail", which is an elevated railway that's garnered a lot of opposition from the local residents, who believed they were being mislead by the state's government as they had thought it'd be replaced by having the tracks lowered into the ground.
