If you've followed the progress of this wigwag from Dan's Wigwag site, you'll see that there are a few changes that have happened. First off, two new crossbucks have been installed, but the main change is seen in pictures 1, 2, and 4. The wigwag was starting to fall apart a bit.

Here are a couple of "forgotten" pictures. The motor box is leaning backwards a bit.

I've been told that this wigwag has been around since 1929, when it was in VERY rural territory, but not anymore.

UPDATE: Sometime during mid-November, 2005 the wigwag was stolen.

The wigwag base still lives.
The wigwag mast has turned into a 8" signal!
With a Safetran hybrid bell!

More rear light shots.
The other lights are WCH/FS.
An overview of the crossing from both directions.

I don't know why the SJVR couldn't have put the crossbuck on the signal instead of leaving it on the post, and why the front lights aren't very straight?

The SJVR did a good job with this signal though. The bell appears to be a Griswold/RACO mechanical bell. I'm not sure what light types these are, but they appear to be a RACO/WRRS combo. This signal was put in when the wigwag was stolen.

Facing East.

Facing West.

The SJVR has been replacing a lot of old railroad ties, and adding lots of ballast to the tracks.

Pictures 7-18 were taken on October 27, 2006.

UPDATE 2: The crossbuck has been put on top of the lights, but the spacing problem between the lights still exists.
