The Greensboro Depot Museum stands near the crossing, the last surviving depot along the AN.
Just inside the depot are a pair of US&S Teardrop bells on display, which I believe came from the FGAR's Tallahassee Subdivison! The one on the left in Picture 30 is a 3rd Generation Teardrop, while the one on the right is a 2nd Generation Teardrop. |
A return trip to the crossing on 3-30-22 catches it in action!
Between these two trips, both gate arms here were replaced and now all of the gate lights at this crossing are Dialight gate lights! |
CIRR 1555 pulls a train south through the crossing. |
The train passes... |
...and the gates rise. |
Pictures 1-30 were taken on 7-5-18.
Pictures 31-45 and the video were taken on 3-30-22.
