A return trip to this crossing by freebrickproductions on 8-15-23 catches it in action! |
CSX L810 pulls-up towards the crossing... |
...and then eventually shoves back down into the passing siding near this crossing to pick-up the rest of their train. Due to the switch being left open, the signals here remain active. |
The western signal had its gate arm replaced and two of the gate lights were replaced with new RECO incandescent gate lights!
The eastern signal also got a new gate arm and had all of its gate lights replaced with NEG LEDs, but I didn't get any close-up photos of those. |
Eventually, L810 pulls back into the crossing with the "foamer unit" leading a GP38-2 for power! |
The train shoves back to the siding to pick-up the conductor... |
...before departing towards Rockmart with their entire train. |
The train passes... |
...and half an hour after the crossing first activated, the signals finally deactivate. |
