This crossing is located on the MTR East Rail Line.

This is one of just a small handful of Hong Kong railroad crossings that still remain.
This and the crossing located at Disneyland are the easiest to get photos of. All the other crossings are private and blocked off from public access (Which technically also includes this one).

I would estimate this crossing to have been installed sometime before 1997 since these signals have incandescent lights and look similar to standard UK installs.
It should be noted that the signal lights flash only when the gates are raising or lowering. They turn off once the gates are fully lowered!

Overview of three signals that guard the crossing.
Quite a lot of warning signs are here. This is mostly because of the high voltage overhead wires.
There is also an HK$5,000 fine for damaging the gates.

The first signal. It looks like a standard UK signal minus the amber light, and even has a working Yodalarm just above the lights!
The lights are halogen/incandescent.

The second and third signal. They both have halogen/incandescent lights similar to the first signal, but the closer second signal has gotten a bit more damaged over time.
The Yodalarm is mounted on the third signal. It's much easier to see it in picture 11.
The front side of the third signal is most likely identical to the first signal.

The crossing gates. There are 4 gates in total.
The gate lights are quite interesting, as they are shaped like a beacon. I don't recall seeing any of these on any other UK crossings. They are all halogen/incandescent.

Some wayside signals next to the crossing.

A diesel locomotive was near the crossing.
It didn't get close enough for any action shots.
The grade is all concrete.
