The main crossing is located on the CPKC Chicago Sub, formerly the IC&E Chicago Sub.
The secondary crossing is located on a former Chicago Great Western spur coming off the Chicago Sub and leads to the Byron Exelon nuclear plant.  This is one of the last active portions of CGW track in Illinois.
