Total Accidents:   0

Crossing DOT #:  916686W
FORMER DAILY TRAINS:   2   (AS OF 2002)

Pictures 1-13 were taken on July 14, 2008.

Picture 14 was taken on March 14, 2015.

Pictures 15-32 were taken on February 14, 2017.

All pictures were taken by Tommy McGowan.

This crossing is located on a defunct that used to lead from the BNSF Chillicothe Sub to the Chicago Aerosol facility just west of here.

Note: The above DOT number is a guess on my part, but given the limited resources of the FRA and the Illinois Commerce Commission, this is only a guess, but I'm about 90% positive that the DOT number listed above is correct.

Looking east toward the mainline. The track doesn't even cross the road!
Looking west. The relay case is on the left.

There's no mention of this crossing anywhere on the FRA, but it is listed on the Illinois Commerce Commission's website. That's how I was able to find this information out.

By 2015, the northern signal had been removed, but the southern signal remains, albeit, looking more beat up.

An updated view of the crossing.  Not much remains.

In February 2017, I came back to get some up close pictures of the remaining signal.
