The Harmon LEDs replaced 12"x20"
incandescent lights in 2008 I believe. Why they used Harmons, I
have no idea. The gate holders were installed around 2012.
All of the WCH mechanisms, except for the western gated signal on 17,
replaced GRS mechanisms in or after 2012. Also sometime in or
after 2012, the timing of the signals changed, as before the bell only
used to ring while the gates were lowering and the gates on 17 went up
about 15 seconds before the signal with the bell did. To see the

In late 2016, this crossing was completely rehabiliated. There
are now 6 new signals, each with an NEG E Bell, and 4 pedestrian gates
protecting Route 17, and Franklin St. no longer crosses the tracks.
