Action shot.  The crossing unexpectedly activated due to the MOW work seen in Picture 21.  I didn't have time to get the camcorder to record video, but it was active long enough to confirm the bell is a GS Type 1.

By April 2022, some major changes occured. The western signal had receieved a new crossbuck by this point. The eastern signal did too, however...

The eastern signal was replaced entirely! I'm not sure what the reason for the replacement is, but oddly enough, this didn't carry over the Safetran lights and instead has old WCH lights. I don't know where these came from. Two of them might be from 1st St. in La Salle, but the other two are a mystery. Also, the installation of the crossbuck is just ugly.

In January 2023, we see the crossbuck was finally moved up making for a better looking signal, however, bigger changes are coming very soon. New conduit was seen all around the crossing, as new gated signals will be installed sometime in 2023.
