Photos
from June 2008 showing a then brand new setup. The 2 main signals
replaced a pair of very old signals with 12"x20" incandescents, WRRS
gate mechanisms, and a GS Type 1 E-Bell in May 2008. There was
also a very old pedestrian gate similar to what 9th St. #1 had, but the
main signals didn't have pedestrian gates. The pedestrian gate
had been replaced a month earlier in April. Note in Picture 4 the
gate striping on the pedestrian gate was upside down. This was
fixed not long afterwards.
Click here to see a video taken in April 2008 by TrainmanKight of the old signals.
In 2015, blue DOT signs were added to the signals and the crossbucks were replaced.

The relay bungalow in the northwest quadrant. The old relay case was still in place.
The road grade is all concrete and the sidewalk grade is all wood.
Not long after these photos are taken,
the road was resurfaced and a median was added in preparation for
Rochelle to become a quiet zone.
By spring 2017, the old relay case was finally removed.
