These signals were installed in the late 90s replacing a pair of crossbucks.

A newer wayside signal protecting the west end of the double track that runs through Marion.

In the video below, you can see that the northern signal had been replaced entirely while the southern signal recieved an LED upgrade. I don't know what came first, but I have a feeling that the northern signal's replacement was likely due to an accident on December 6, 2022.
