Re: Can someone help me out- I'm new to this!
TO LARDLOGO: Thanks! I know how you feel. I don't like shaky videos either. That's why when I got money last christmas I bought a tripod. I feel that it has improved my videos 100%. The only problem that I have is that if I get to a crossing with just a few seconds before the train arrives, I have t...

Maybe it was at one time before I was born, but not recently.
I also wondered why the Railroad Crossing in use sign is there.

8 inch lights and 1 track signs
This video I made of the SU-99 passing some very old and classic crossing signals. This is the only crossing I know of that has inverted 1 Track signs. This crossing is located in Pompton Lakes along the New York Susquehanna and Western's main line which runs from Ridgefield Park NJ to Binghamton NY...

What type of cantilevers are these?
Hey there I was viewing a video from one of my subscribers and one of his videos has two cantilevers in it. He says that they are Safetran Cantilevers, but I'm not 100% sure that they are. Here is the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qD8Xn0yxnPI PLEASE NOTE: This Video is NOT mine. Thanks.

Re: 8" Strobe lights?
I filmed the same crossing. Here's my video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQkyvecWiak They are used here because at one time there trees that obstructed the view of the crossing. The trees were removed, but the strobes were not. This crossing is one the New York Susquehanna and Western main line.

Re: Invensys Rail is no more.
So does mean that any new crossing installations won't have any Safetran parts?

Thank You for the warm welcome!
Sure. Here's the link!
Some of my older videos are shaky because it's before I didn't have a Tri-pod.
After my trip to Emerson NJ, my videos no longer were shaky.
Enjoy!
