IIRC, the SD70MAC rebuild is a program that I believe CSX is experimenting with for their SD70MAC fleet.

Unfortunately, from what I understand, like the unrebuilt SD70MACs, the rebuilt ones lack the ability to lead a train with DPUs... :Roll:

CSX retired some of it's Dash 8's/9's, as for the rest are just GP38/40-2's and more switchers. a SD70AC had it's electronics rebuilt for unknown reasons.
