Since we're on this subject, US 63 in Malcom, IA (IAIS). There used to be an overpass until the mid 90s when the highway bridge was torn out and replaced with this (not something the Iowa DOT does very often). This crossing is about 1/2 mile north of I-80. Hopefully Iowa Interstate plans on replacin...

Speed limit? What's that? Apparently nobody around here seems to know what the speed limit is (or just don't care). They're either going too fast or too slow. Those that do go the speed limit will sometimes get a few "friendly" gestures or words. The maximum speed limit on rural Interstates in Iowa ...
