A year or two ago, i watched this Australian Railroad Crossing video, and the Safetran Type 3 electronic bell sound got me interested into finding out more about it. There is a railroad crossing on a track in that racing game Blur, when you pass it the first time the signals are non-active. The next time you pass the signals are active. Unfortunately the trains don't move :(
