Not sure what exactly this is used for, but it is interesting (its the signal with the white X). I think this is the crossing by the Amtrak station in Springfield.

That's just horrible, that kid had so much potential, but other people has to push him down and make his life horrible to go through.

Unfortunately, bulling will never stop. We can try all we want, but there will always be people who are jerks and find fun out of picking on people smaller than them.

They don't really make a lot of sense. Amtrak 22 passes a parked coal train at CP X-200 Auburn in late July 2011. This coal train was parked here on the siding for 10 hours and was broken up in chunks so it wouldn't block the crossings.

There was a discussion in last months POTM about gateless crossing along the UP Springfield Sub. so I found this crossing in Springfield with no gates, but cantilevers; short cantilevers.

Looks like there were 11. I wonder where they were in relation to today's setup.
