The WABCO bell at Palmer Street has now, sadly been replaced with oddly enough a Safetran Type 2 E-Bell.

I'm pretty disappointed, i wanted to see that bell in action.
That was actually a US&S mechanical bell. Evers Street still has one though:

New bell is likely an NEG e-bell that's faded a bit.
David is correct that it was a US&S e-bell. I hope to see that crossing on the site soon as I have sent the pictures to him, but they will be five years or older by the time they're up. :LOL3:
You mean US&S m-bell? Feel free to get some newer pictures as well, though it is a shame that CSX replaced the US&S bell there, as it sounded nice with that GS Type 1.
Yes I did mean US&S m-bell. :LOL3:

I'll see what I can do. I might ride out there this week and get some newer shots since I'm off from work until the new year.
Crossing pictures from Plant City, FL are finally here! viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2538

Nathan ARF filmed that crossing in 2015.

That "pedestrian crossing" is actually for a road as well, IIRC.

Active crossing around near Perth. In my honest opinion, I always thought that the lights being in the rectangle was odd.

Another active one nearby, look at that cantilever!

Same here. They're probably better than normal setups in that they block more sunlight.

Kinda unusual seeing them posted here in the forum as most posts here involving Australia come from Victoria and New South Wales.

Pretty unusual. Not sure what ID tags looked like in the 80s.

I believe so. They wree probably very short lived, as I've only seen a grand total of three crossings that still have them, and most of them have been found on crossbuck crossings. Here's two of the crossings I've seen with them:
http://www.rxrsignals.com/Alabama/Fairfield/Crawford/
https://www.google.com/maps/@34.3458296 ... 312!8i6656

I wouldn't be too surprised to find out that CSX made them as a variant for crossbuck crossings originally, though.
They/Them for me, please.
