Nice shot!

Check out how deep the snow is on top of the signal's visors.

I've seen snow on light frames before, but never that much...

That right there was the massive storm that covered the midwest and the Northeast with a good amount of snow. Nice shot of the snowblowing loco!

Don't say that to a guy who spent nearly 10 hours shoveling 14" of heavy, wet-cement-like snow off his long driveway on Wednesday...not to mention clearing a large tree limb that fell across it due to the weight of the snow.

Thats one of the major factors I miss about not being in Maine. Snow. I loved shoveling and snowthrowing snow in the early mornings wit a brisk 15-25mph wind blowing right in your face. I loved after it was all done bundling up in a blanket around the gas fireplace in my house, and drinking a cup of coffee before I got my gear on and chased Guilford Rail System when all the signals were still blanketed in fresh fallen snow. Here in Florida, last night I had severe thunderstorms. What kind of christmas and december is it when you have severe thunderstorms... Plus seeing christmas decorations without any snow is like drinking soda without any ice.

The snow wasn't too bad in Michigan. The hard part was having the rain all turn into 3" of ice. That was the hardest part for me in Midland, MI.
