we also went to the marketplace where i saw what looked to be rail road slits where the rail has been removed and was filled in with concrete.

Unless I'm blind I don't see any tracks in either spot?

First one is a bit back from the road:
https://www.google.com/maps/@37.8019839 ... authuser=0

The other used to have tracks, but they were replaced by concrete at some point:

Another angle from a few years prior where the former flangeways are more visible:

They/Them for me, please.

Kinda surprised to see that signal's still standing!

And the relay case for the crossing is on the opposite side of the street still.
They/Them for me, please.

sorry for bumping this old thread but satellite view shows that the next crossing over still has a pavementmarking that is still intact.

https://www.google.com/maps/@35.222633, ... a=!3m1!1e3

paved over crossing

https://www.google.com/maps/@35.244253, ... 312!8i6656

another crossing i found where the tracks are paved over and it still has cross bucks too!

https://www.google.com/maps/@35.2656721 ... 312!8i6656

another paved over crossing with half a cross buck

https://www.google.com/maps/@35.2678973 ... 312!8i6656

yet another paved over crossing this time with a relay case

https://www.google.com/maps/@35.2846677 ... 312!8i6656

another paved over crossing this time with two signal bases and a relay case with emergency information that doesn't look that old!

https://www.google.com/maps/@35.3014983 ... i13312!8i6

same situation at next crossing two signal bases and a newer relay case with emergency information

https://www.google.com/maps/@35.3042401 ... 312!8i6656

kinda hard to tell on this one that there are remnants of stop marking s on either side of the crossing or that there is a signal base but easy to spot the relay case

https://www.google.com/maps/@35.2241282 ... 312!8i6656

here is the satellite view of what appears to be an abandoned small yard!

https://www.google.com/maps/@35.2155867 ... a=!3m1!1e3

found another one that surprisingly hasn't been paved over and has two cross buck and surprisingly a very old us&s relay case which is in decent condition!

https://www.google.com/maps/@35.0868045 ... 312!8i6656

found another one that still has pavement markings although they are extremely faded.

i am posting two views because it is on a hill some what and extremely faded

https://www.google.com/maps/@35.072274, ... 312!8i6656

https://www.google.com/maps/@35.0722412 ... 312!8i6656

i thought the pavement marking for the second marking i showed you had faded to beyond illegibility but it hadn't and i nearly missed it and it is also the better condition.

https://www.google.com/maps/@35.0722371 ... 312!8i6656

only the cross buck posts remain at this crossing

https://www.google.com/maps/@35.0778261 ... 312!8i6656

only one complete cross buck and a cross buck post guard this crossing.

https://www.google.com/maps/@35.0792863 ... 312!8i6656

only a relay case and two crossing signals which are only missing the gates remain at this crossing!

https://www.google.com/maps/@35.0809672 ... 312!8i6656

only two crossbuck guard this crossing and the first cross buck in the street view the word crossing is mounted upside down so in stead of the word crossing it's ginissorc

https://www.google.com/maps/@35.0818053 ... 312!8i6656

he other cross buck is in way better shape and mounted correctly this time

https://www.google.com/maps/@35.0820338 ... 312!8i6656

only a lone crossbuck and a relay case at this crossing.

https://www.google.com/maps/@35.0828353 ... 312!8i6656

two complete signals guard this crossing both signals also which have a split cast iron crossbuck!

https://www.google.com/maps/@35.0836961 ... 312!8i6656

the next crossing only has one lone cross buck.

https://www.google.com/maps/@35.0859559 ... 312!8i6656

found another one that surprisingly hasn't been paved over and has two cross buck and surprisingly a very old us&s relay case which is in decent condition!

https://www.google.com/maps/@35.0868045 ... 312!8i6656

found some more signals in great shape other than one signal missing a light they are in decent condition

https://www.google.com/maps/@34.9700139 ... 312!8i6656

found an abandoned railroad bridge that goes over a highway that i wouldn't normally consider posting but it still has the rock islands lines lettering on it!

https://www.google.com/maps/@34.9436924 ... 312!8i6656

a lone cross buck guards this crossing along with an RXR yellow advance sign

https://www.google.com/maps/@34.932497, ... 312!8i6656

found two mre signals that are somewhat good of condition they are complete and it does indeed have a WRRS mini bell! but the sreet view is from 2009 and the signals do have some build up of rust

https://www.google.com/maps/@34.9039452 ... 328!8i1664

found two more complete signals they are in such good shape that i'm amazed not also that but this crossing's lone bell is a Wabco bell!

overview of the crossing

https://www.google.com/maps/@34.8873777 ... 312!8i6656

close up of the Wabco bell

https://www.google.com/maps/@34.8871643 ... 312!8i6656

we what appears to be a yellow advanced warning sign but because the street view is from the highway and there is no street view on that particular road and because the back side of the sign is facing the highway there is currently no way to tell unless you we went out there and checked your self so i will let you decide on what you think

https://www.google.com/maps/@34.9167577 ... 312!8i6656

now i'm sure that the one above is what i think it is based on whats at the next crossing over.

https://www.google.com/maps/@34.9180743 ... 312!8i6656

two cross bucks and one stop line do the warning here although i think this crossing might be active due to the fact that it is mint condition the right of way but then i could be maintained because it's on a highway and state law requires it to but i don't know

https://www.google.com/maps/@34.9251609 ... 312!8i6656

i sure i have come to beginning of the active portion based on this

https://www.google.com/maps/@34.9266409 ... 312!8i6656
very lucky to live two-three blocks away from three teardrop bells. one of which i see at least once a week!
