These would be a good candidate, as would any of the few Griswold rotating stop sign signals still standing.
You are talking about this one sir!

Yes, that is the one! Definitely not in the UP...

Anyway, I think those are a definite candidate for the oldest non-wigwag crossing signals still in service in this country.

Bumping this, because I remember the topic from years ago. Here's a couple more of those interesting old cantilevers as mentioned before.

Wonder if it's possible they may have been made by the RRS or one of their predecessors?
They/Them for me, please.

If you squint, I believe you can make out GRS logos on the back of the cantilever lights. Obviously no clue if they are the original ones installed with the signal or replacements.
Although, on this crossing they have 8" Lex-C lights on both cantilevers.

If they are GRS, then I'm guessing they're the XA heads, as they seem to lack the front extensions the XC heads have...

Crazy that they still exist as they are so rusty. Maybe Rail Signals was the company that made them
Check out my Roblox group called Railroad Town Replicators. We have games based in real world towns and we primary make signals. And no I’m not asking for R$ or likes. The one who is too interested in railroad crossing signals but you can’t be too intrested.
