This is a very interesting situation, i didn't know that WABCO still made AL-70s into this decade. Does anybody know if they are still in production?
I'm thinking that they were re-used. WABCO split up after breaking away from US&S years ago, with the rail-related portion becoming Wabtec, though Wabtec doesn't make crossing equipment, according to their site.
Interesting, has anybody located WABCO's last crossing install? Just curious. :Grin:
AFAIK, no. And I wouldn't be surprised to find out that it's long since been replaced, anyways...

Yea, I don't believe they ever did, especially due to where the crossbucks are mounted.
