found western pacific railroad bridge that is still in service that was built in 1927!!!!!!!!!!!!!

very lucky to live two-three blocks away from three teardrop bells. one of which i see at least once a week!

found one that was all original but the griswold bells were replaced with ebells it has 8- inch lights which were replaced but i ain't compaining as for some reason the 8-inch griswold lights were replaced with 8-inch safe tran lights.

None of those are "completely original", all of the original lights were replaced on them. In fact, none of those lights are 8 inch, they're all 12 inch (most of which are 12x24 inch Harmon lights, it appears).

The signal maintainer for that section of the line likely did after the bells that were there died. :Roll:

Rare on UP lines, anyways. I know of a good number of them on former L&N and SCL lines around the southeastern US.

found raco hydraulic gate in los angeles thats still actualy there plus it still has it's 8-inch lights but the teardrop bell is gone replaced with general signals electronic bell

whats weird is that this crossing is still in service but the signals it has replaced old signals because the old signals cantilivers are still there al be it nothing else though

By the looks of it, the cantilevers were last used in 2007 before the mast signals were put up sometime between August 2007 to September 2008 and I'm not to sure if they have already disconnected it when they put the newer mast up in 2008, or if they kept it going until the lights were removed sometime between September 2008 to July 2014
