Union Pacific? You mean Unipart Rail?NathanFromEngland wrote: Fun Fact: The incandescent wigwags were manufactured by National Railway Supplies! (They were replaced by Union Pacific wigwags in 2014 IIRC)
The yodalarms here are really tired and worn out, here is what i mean.
Nice finds though!
Here's an active crossing in Beeston, England:

It appears that the driver of the Google car didn't want to wait for the second train!

And the crossing in action again a few years prior:

Fixed.
Anyway, back to main topic.
Brockhampton Lane (But Network Rail call it Swindon Road level crossing) I feel sorry for the people that live in the house!

Re: Google Maps Scavenger Hunt
Found this old MCB crossing (Now unfortunately replaced!)
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.90290 ... 312!8i6656
If you look here, you can see some cones and a new wigwag pole.

Looks like one of the old barriers is a really slow raiser!

Re: Google Maps Scavenger Hunt
Not sure what's odd about the way it's mounted. That's just how Safetran bells look from that angle.ToledoRailfan wrote:Kind of an odd way to mount the bell.

Re: Google Maps Scavenger Hunt
It's also on a 4 inch mast as it's at a gateless crossing. IIRC, Safetran bells were made with a 5 inch base, so they don't always look quite "right" when on a 4 inch mast, such as the one at Houston Street in Scottsboro, AL:ZachL wrote:Not sure what's odd about the way it's mounted.
