you're crazy
Yea, it's just an MI or US&S bell that has a 4 inch base. Since it's mounted on a gated signal with a 5 inch mast, it has to have a 5 inch adapter.

Also, Harmon gate mechs there too!
They/Them for me, please.

why do you always put an exclamation point at the end of sentence when pointing out harmon mechanisms? what is so special about them?
very lucky to live two-three blocks away from three teardrop bells. one of which i see at least once a week!

A pair of classic cantilever signals in Thomasville, GA with most of the original US&S 8 inch lights with vandal-guards!
https://www.google.com/maps/@30.8354513 ... 312!8i6656
Check out how the side-lights are mounted!
https://www.google.com/maps/@30.8354493 ... 312!8i6656

Classic crossings:

https://www.google.com/maps/@30.8345507 ... 312!8i6656
Black-painted General Signals e-bell:

https://www.google.com/maps/@30.8346674 ... 312!8i6656
Looks like there was another crossing here:
https://www.google.com/maps/@30.8345089 ... 312!8i6656
(A train can also be seen down the line.)

This crossing has four bells at it, two General Signals Type 1s and what appears to be a pair of US&S mechanical bells, with only two signals!
https://www.google.com/maps/@31.2326322 ... 312!8i6656
And according to the video below, all four bells still work!
They/Them for me, please.
