Nice find! I wonder how long that line has been out of service. That crossing is in a very scenic area.
The line used to interchange with a logging railroad at a place called Kosmopolis. You wont see that town anymore as it's under water. If I could guess I would say that the line has been gone now for around 40-50 years or so. The funny thing is is that the FRA site still shows this crossing on their site.

Wow! That is pretty crazy that the crossbucks are still there let alone the tracks and the crossing!

The only signage for this crossing.

---------------------------
Very faded crossbuck sign.

The signals at this crossing once had GRS/GRSA XB/XD lights!

This one signal (I don't know what this kind of signal is called) probably still works, if you compare the images of it you will see that the arms are in different positions!

The crossing is located on the Queensland Pioneer Steam Railway.

Kind of interesting signs.
https://www.google.com/maps/@43.3772128 ... 6656?hl=en
https://www.google.com/maps/@43.3769981 ... 6656?hl=en

The signs are now gone.
https://www.google.com/maps/@43.3770281 ... 6656?hl=en
https://www.google.com/maps/@43.3772268 ... 6656?hl=en

Although those signs were once on the signals.
https://www.google.com/maps/@43.3772171 ... 6656?hl=en
https://www.google.com/maps/@43.3770156 ... 6656?hl=en
--------------------------------
This is pretty interesting, they used a signal mast as a post for this crossbuck! At first I thought that the crossing was downgraded from signalized to passive and all the signals were replaced with posts with the exception of one. I wonder why they only added one crossbuck instead of two? You would think if they're going to added another crossbuck to setup like this, they would add two instead of one.
--------------------------------
Interesting how they have an extra signal instead of sidelights. I saw this crossing when I was on a school field trip two years ago, I don't think I noticed the extra signal.

There used to be a lot of vintage STOP WHEN LIGHTS SHOW signs around Merseyside. Sadly, they were all removed between 2009 and 2014.
Here is one in Waterloo.
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.47761 ... 312!8i6656
Unfortunately, it was later replaced by a modern day sign.
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.47759 ... 312!8i6656
Here is one at the border between Waterloo and Seaforth., i'm not sure if it is still there, as it only gives me a street view from September 2009.
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.48194 ... 312!8i6656
Here is one in Southport.
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.60203 ... 312!8i6656
And just like the first one, it was later replaced.
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.60201 ... 312!8i6656
Here is one in Birkdale.
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.63456 ... 312!8i6656
It was later replaced, however they never bothered to rip out the old sign pole
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.63456 ... 312!8i6656
There is another one on the other side of the crossing!
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.63406 ... 312!8i6656
It was replaced, but just like the point said above, they never ripped out the old signs pole.
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.63408 ... 312!8i6656
This sign has a newer pole for some reason, which is strange.
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.63803 ... 312!8i6656
It was replaced though and the sign was never ripped out, waste of money. You could've just refitted the newer sign on the pole.
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.63803 ... 312!8i6656
Nothing new about this sign.
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.63702 ... 312!8i6656
Replaced, and they ripped the sign out.
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.63704 ... 312!8i6656
You can see the rest for yourself.
