SP Crossing Signals question??

Post by SP4439 » Thu Dec 01, 2011 5:58 pm

Hello group,
Is someone knowledgeable on Southern Pacific crossing signal standards? I am looking for as many pictures from as many angles for RACO hydraulics. Another question I have is what signal company did SP use for lights only crossings? They look similar to RACO Hydraulics, but without the gate mechanism. The picture I have attached looks similar to what SP used. The signal in question was at Shell Rd, in Ortonville on the Ojai branch of the SP. I remember it having split cross bucks and small diameter lights. Any help, or pictures of the SP signals would be appreciated. Thanks!

I've seen that before. I do think is from SP, but SP has known to use other equipment as well.
