I'll take the bell of that crossing, but how on earth did that happen with the crossbuck, someone really screwed up.

I speak my mind, if you don't like that oh well. I'll have you fill out a hurt feelings report and submit that to my office.

The original signal position in the middle of the asphalt is obvious. :D

My guess is that there was supposed to be an "ER" at the end, showing it was a crossing only for NS Roadrailer trains. :LOL2: :LOL3:

That certainly explains "how" it could happen... machine made an error... I get that. But why the heck would they still use it? That is just very unprofesional in my opinion. Makes the railroad look cheap and like they don't care.

I would have returned the crossbuck set and admonished the manufacturer for allowing an obvious violation of MUTCD to be sent out like that.
Just the facts, ma'am.

Sorry to bump this one... but notice the printing error that occurred on one side of this crossbuck set. You can see it is correctly pieced together and mounted to the normal approaching side of traffic.

Perry Parkway's new crossbucks on the reopened WSOR ex UPRR/CNW line got a misprint too.
(correct) Front
(wrong) Back
Again, at least the person who installed this made sure the error faced the back.

There was actually another Roadrail Crossbuck in Muncie, IN, but it was replaced with a normal one.
