What type of cantilevers are these?
Hey there
I was viewing a video from one of my subscribers and one of his videos has two cantilevers in it.
He says that they are Safetran Cantilevers, but I'm not 100% sure that they are.
Here is the video:
PLEASE NOTE: This Video is NOT mine.
Thanks.

It's impossible to tell unless the filmographer was up-close to see.. because Griswold, RACO, and Safetran used that design. However, I'd say Safetran because of the bell placement.
Crossing pictures from Plant City, FL are finally here! viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2538

Pretty certain they are Safetran's. Compare to these:

Logo is a little fuzzy, but I'm fairly positive that is the Safetran Logo on the junction box:

They are Safetran cantilevers because I looked myself. Here is a video of RACO cantilevers and notice the different bell placement. The bells are Griswold, I checked the back of them myself. YouTube.com/watch?v=ofviH41xAil

Need to check that YouTube link Yoshi. All I get is "This video is unavailable".

You need to highlight the link and click the URL button, Yoshi. As well you might need to check your link.YoshiDino90 wrote:They are Safetran cantilevers because I looked myself. Re: What type of cantilevers are these?
The other indication it's a Safetran design is the width of the lower segments of the truss. Armstrong Avenue, in Irvine, CA (which I can ascertain is a RACO design--in fact, all my RACO phototextures are derived from this signal) has a narrower bracket on which the lower beams are mounted.
That being said, I would speculate the wider bracket is the result of standardizing parts, as after Safetran bought out RACO they also began offering their Cable-Stayed cantilever. Note the similarity between bracket widths.

Re: What type of cantilevers are these?
Fun fact: The cable strayed cantilever in the link above is a later production one.
