Those parking barriers remind me of this Dutch crossing, i know these barriers are slightly longer and the signals aren't miniature, but it's kinda weird modification.
On the topic of barriers, i was on a bus yesterday and passed by one of the dock's, there is a port line there that has a crossing with old wigwags and unusual barriers (similar to parking barriers)
Here is the link, unfortunately the view isn't that great as an Arriva bus is obscuring the view, but you can work out the crossing barrier's arms.
