Re: Crossing Malfuction/Fails Sightings
If you look at the gate lights on the farther signal on this video, you can see all 3 flash together dimly as the gates lower. as the gate soon fully lowers, the lights brighten and flash separately.

Some nice close-ups of what are believed to be US&S LEDs too.

One of the gates at Holmes Avenue #1 failed to rise with the others during one activation today, as seen here:

This crossing in Mexico didn't even activate at all.
The traffic light for this crossing doesn't even work, Mexico has some pretty hard hitting FRA violations.

You do realize the Federal Railroad Administration only exists within the boundaries of the United States, right?NathanFromEngland wrote:What?ZachL wrote:NathanFromEngland wrote:Mexico has some pretty hard hitting FRA violations.

Still, it is really concerning to see the lack of safety equipment in Mexico.ZachL wrote:You do realize the Federal Railroad Administration only exists within the boundaries of the United States, right?NathanFromEngland wrote:What?ZachL wrote:NathanFromEngland wrote:Mexico has some pretty hard hitting FRA violations.
Many crossings had gates, but then FXE decided to remove gates, and some crossings don't even have power (Like the one in the first video, plus with the speed of those trains, they come only in seconds and they don't take them slow down in Mexico.)

The GS Type 1 E-Bell in this video doesn't even activate until the gates are nearly halfway down. Does contain my favorite tone out of the bell.
