Are there any railroad crossings in your area that are closed off? This railroad crossing https://www.google.com/maps/@30.2030921 ... 312!8i6656 is closed off. There's a nearby overpass that goes over the railroad.

There are several in my area, a couple of which are on the site. I'm also moving this to the correct forum.

This at one time was a dirt road that went all the way to the next road to the south of the crossing. You can still see remnants of the old road on satellite view. This just had crossbucks only, no signals.

Sumas Subdivision
2nd Street, Sumas. Very old and fuzzy image from when the crossing was open. The Advance Warning (RXR) sign still stands next to the post office however.

Scutvick Road, Deming. Been closed for as long as I can remember. Area is now overgrown.
