Re: Crossings protected by traffic signals.
Those are technically not traffic signals though. Just some beacons that alternate flashing.ToledoRailfan wrote:Goodwater, Alabama.

Also in that first link is two pairs of Kentron beacons and some old beacon facing the side road.

Re: Crossings protected by traffic signals.
Yea, they appear to be T-con/Kentron 8 inch beacons in the first two links, with an old Eaglelux beacon facing the side road (quite possibly the last single-face Eaglelux signal in the state as well if Gadsden's replaced their last one). Also, one of the T-con/Kentron beacons was damaged between 2014 and 2016!ZachL wrote:Those are technically not traffic signals though. Re: Crossings protected by traffic signals.
Yep. I noticed that when I switched from the older view to the newer views as I originally posted those in Google Maps Scavenger Hunt back in October of 2015. I wonder if those signals still work?freebrickproductions wrote:Also, one of the T-con/Kentron beacons was damaged between 2014 and 2016!ZachL wrote:Those are technically not traffic signals though. Wonder if the signal facing the removed track still works?NathanFromEngland wrote:Denver, Colorado.

I also wonder why the signals facing the tracks have four sections...
