Here are a thread that I thought it would be a good idea to start! This thread is for crossings that are protected by traffic signals, that also includes traffic signals that flash continuously.

I don't understand why this is a 4-way beacon and not a 2-way beacon. Maybe when this was installed getting a 4-way beacon was the only option (or they thought that it wasn't an issue) or maybe the signal is suppose to activate when there is a train and the crossing is malfunctioning.

It's also an old Darley signal too!

Wheelwright Lane, Coventry.

If your eagle-eyed you can notice the crossing poles are rectangular steel poles, and one of the signals has a bent backboard and is facing towards a house. This is also one of the very few crossings in the UK to have incandescent gate lights.

Sadly, this line has since been closed.

Heres a video of the crossing in action.

This thread is kind of more for crossings that are just protected by traffic signals.

That is or was an interesting crossing though!

Well, here in the UK. We have tramways, but they're protected by traffic lights, i didn't know if you mean't by railroad preemption or just traffic light protected crossings.
