Spotted while in vacation, 1 Griswold cantilever at Avenue des Générations's Railroad crossing wifi a strange light configuration (Charny, Lévis, Québec)

Can't tell for sure, but that could also be a US&S or a GRS cantilever as well.

Kind of interesting how the mast lights are also rear lights for the entire signal and the cantilever lights are also the front lights for the entire signal!

Appears to be due to the utility poles. The rear lights don't have to be mounted on the overhead so they aren't, while the front lights have to be to be seen. Similar to this signal except with a cantilever:

It seems to not be uncommon in Ontario and Quebec for weird and unusual setups and mounting for railroad crossing lights due to an obstruction, that is something that I've noticed.
