One of the crossings I used to go to in Houston actually has an extension similar to a couple of the ones posted in here due to the power pole in the way.

Yeah, looks like the signal was relocated from one side of the sidewalk to the other. Here's an odd one in Stratford, Ontario. Almost looks to be the opposite of what they were trying to do as the lights would be more visible if it was a standard mast signal!
