Very Strange railroad crossing

I mean, I guess I can understand why they did it, but I'm personally not sure as to why they didn't have the gate run parallel to the tracks. Just seems kinda stupid to completely block one road at an intersection even though traffic could still turn right without issue...

You also have this; two pairs of 12X24 LEDs, a 12X20 Clear LED, and an 8" light.

That is just a pedestrian gate for the sidewalk.

The 12x20 inch light is actually just a standard "No Left Turn" light from WCH, it appears.
