very lucky to live two-three blocks away from three teardrop bells. one of which i see at least once a week!

I'm not sure on that one... Kokomo is known for a dwarf signal or two as well.

Also, that line very recently got torn out as well.

oh okay sorry about that i thought it was a wigwag remanant because it said on both sides stop and rxr and what is a dwarf signal?

Sorry, I got my terminology mixed up. It's actually a "Franken-signal" (search the forums for other examples)

The signal in question (the "wig wag remnant") is actually a old smash board!

It was an early signal that would be used at a diamond to let a crew know if the track was clear, or if there was a height restriction or something like that. If it wasn't clear, the train would smash into it, hence the name. More info can be found here:
