Monroe Street #1 Officially Closed

Can't say I'm surprised as I don't think this spur has been used in 10 years or more. Either way, the HMCR's Huntsville Utilities Spur, and with it, Monroe Street #1, is now officially dead as the tracks were cut and the switch was removed from the main. According to the railroad, this was done as the switch apparently needed rebuilding, and Huntsville Utilities and the HMCR decided that it'd be more economical to use the yard tracks for unloading any equipment.
