With all the recent updates going towards said rail line, thought I would just do this instead of post for every signal.
First off, Brown Road, Ferndale. The old Harmon cantilever is gone and replaced with newer Siemens/ Safetran equipment. The Ferndale siding is being extended, and that is probably why this happened. When GSV went through, the cantilever was still up.

Smokey Point Boulevard/ State Avenue, Marysville, Wa. This is an industrial spur that was at one time a part of the Sumas Subdivision. This one was upgraded not too long ago, but I keep forgetting about it.
View in 2012, the crossing had a RACO cantilever.

Here's how it looks today. Two GS E-Bells were added (the crossing previously had no bells.) The old Raco cantilever was replaced with a Harmon cantilever similar to the one on the other side.

There's even a new pedestrian crossing.

Also nearby, what is this supposed to be? It appeared after the new signals were put in. Is it some type of artwork or something?

Re: BNSF Bellingham/ Sumas Subdivision Upgrade Thread
If I had to take a guess... that is a temporary signal? It appears the road was widened or redesigned recently (with the installation of the new cantilever). Maybe that signal was used somewhere during the construction. Strictly a guess... but I couldn't see it being placed there for display purposes.LARDLOGO wrote:Also nearby, what is this supposed to be? It appeared after the new signals were put in.
