7th Avenue/Fogg Street, Nashville Tennessee Closed Down.
Hi everyone, Ethan the Railfanner here, and I have some sad news about the crossing 7th Avenue/Fogg Street in Nashville, Tennessee that has the ASC E-Bells, well the crossing that has the ASC E-Bells, closed down. The signals were also removed.
It's sad to see rare equipment go... but that's what CSX is doing... I guess...

Daniel Andrews strikes again!
I don't understand why they would close this crossing, maybe because of how it gets blocked frequently?

Metro, why do you keep removing Mechanical bells?!

Probably, and it's also a busy crossing that ain't a quiet zone right near downtown Nashville.TrickyMario7654 wrote:Daniel Andrews strikes again!

No need to say that in every post of yours. I think we get it at this point.Ethan the Railfanner wrote:Hi everyone, Ethan the Railfanner here
Sad to hear that the crossing closed. I actually liked its setup, but perhaps the traffic didn't warrant the need for a crossing, or maybe a quiet zone is going in.
Crossing pictures from Plant City, FL are finally here! viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2538

I wonder what they will do with the crossing equipment, doesn't look like any of the signals were that old.

Want to say the newest equipment there was the General Signals e-bell and the Safetran gate mechs. Everything else (other than the ASC e-bells) was from the 1980s or older (there was a WRRS mechanical bell and some Federal Signal 12x20 inch lights there, remember).ToledoRailfan wrote:I wonder what they will do with the crossing equipment, doesn't look like any of the signals were that old.
