A couple of changes out of Stevenson, AL

Post by freebrickproductions » Fri Mar 16, 2018 11:37 am

Went out to Stevenson yesterday, and found out a couple of changes. Didn't get any videos showing the updates (though I did record one of these crossings mentioned), but I did get pictures to use on the site that I can post here if anyone wants me to.

First off, at Russell Pike, the Safetran signal was replaced with a new one, though the only change for the new signal (other than being very shiny) is the fact that it has a WCH base rather than a Safetran one. There's also some wires sticking out of the top of the signal, so I wonder if CSX will be adding a second bell here.

The other change is at Kentucky Avenue, where the Safetran Type 3 on the southern signal (Picture 17) has had the Safetran Type 3 (which had been dead for a while, IIRC) replaced with an NEG e-bell sometime recently.
They/Them for me, please.
