Update to Court Street in Calhoun, GA
According to this video, the MI bell on the signal with the Safetran gate mech at Court Street in Calhoun, GA was replaced sometime recently with an NEG electronic bell:
According to the uploader, no other changes have occured here.

There should be a legal limit as to how humid it can be on any given day during the summer here in the South...

No kidding. UP seems to use them too, as the new safetran signal at Leffingwell ave. in Kirkwood has one.

Wouldn’t be cool if Safetran/Siemens made a type 4? Type 3 housing with type 1 sound lol.

I think CN is the only Class I still installing modern Safetran e-bells now. And I'm not aware of many other railroads still installing them as well, outside of the NJT and maybe a few regionals or shortlines, so I'm not sure if Siemens will want to make a newer design of e-bell...Steven429 wrote:That stinks.
