:Awww: That kinda stinks. At least the e-bell can be heard...
Proud owner of a Safetran 3rd Gen M-Bell, a GS Type 2 bell, a dead GS type 1 bell, a WRRS M-bell, and a US&S H-2 searchlight signal.
Why does everyone copy my signature?

OG signal collection signature, I think. :LOL2:

No kidding. UP seems to use them too, as the new safetran signal at Leffingwell ave. in Kirkwood has one.

That stinks.

Wouldn’t be cool if Safetran/Siemens made a type 4? Type 3 housing with type 1 sound lol.

I think CN is the only Class I still installing modern Safetran e-bells now. And I'm not aware of many other railroads still installing them as well, outside of the NJT and maybe a few regionals or shortlines, so I'm not sure if Siemens will want to make a newer design of e-bell...

Is it only the Type-3 as well that they're installing?

Believe so for both CN and NJT.
