Yes, we are aware of that big blizzard that hit a couple of days ago. On that day in Bridgewater MA, an elderly couple driving an SUV ended up getting stuck on the Broad St. railroad crossing in Bridgewater MA due to the snow just as an outbound MBTA commuter train was to approach. Fortunately, two young adult males got the couple out of their car in time before the train could hit it, so there were no casualties or fatalities with this accident, thank goodness. Here's an couple articles about what happened:

As I may have mentioned, I know this crossing really well:

Since these photos were taken, the crossing grade was redone, the Safetran gate arms were replaced with WCH gate arms, and the Safetran mechanical bells wore out and were replaced with WCH e-bells. These changes will be reflected in a future update to Massachusetts on the site (I already took pictures of this back in July and sent them to freebrick.)

They weren't going over the speed limit were they? If the ice caused their vehicle to be uncontrollable, no charges can be filed against them can they?wilek209 wrote:Yes, we are aware of that big blizzard that hit a couple of days ago.
