Yesterday, NS 201 hit a car that was crossing the tracks at the Bellefonte Road crossing in Hollywood, AL. The crew is alright and the driver only had minor injuries, though, and is expected to survive. Sadly, the all MI signal at the crossing was knocked down, though it appears to be in decent shape and could probably be re-installed with a new base, though I wouldn't be surprised if the crossing gets an upgrade in the near future due to this.

One person was injured when a vehicle collided with a train at the intersection of Main St. and County Road 33 in Hollywood around 1 p.m. Saturday.
The woman, who police say is in her 70s, was extricated from her flipped vehicle and taken to a local hospital for treatment.
No word yet on her condition.
The intersection will remain blocked for the next several hours as officials conduct an investigation.

County Road 33 at the railroad tracks was temporarily closed off to traffic. It has since been reopened.

I honestly have no idea. It was an old lady, so she might just not have noticed that the crossing was active for one reason or another.
Also, went out to the crossing today, and the all MI signal was replaced with one of the old signals from Alabama Street in Courtland, AL, interestingly enough:
