MIDLAND -- UPDATE: New details have been released on Tuesday's crash.
According to the City of Midland, police were called to Warehouse Road and West Industrial Avenue around 2:20 p.m. for a report of a semi-truck getting stuck on the railroad tracks.
The driver was able to get out of the truck in time and called 911.
A Union Pacific train traveling on the tracks heading towards Dallas crashed into the truck but no injuries were reported.
A Union Pacific spokesperson tells CBS7 that the truck was high-centered, causing it to get stuck on the tracks and that the driver did the right thing by immediately calling 911.

Police are investigating after an 18-wheeler stalled out along railroad tracks in Midland and was hit by a train.
According to the City of Midland, the accident was reported near Bankhead and Industrial at 2:20 p.m.
The driver of the truck was able to escape before the crash.
There is no word yet on what caused his truck to stall.
