They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Ben Franklin

I speak my mind, if you don't like that oh well. I'll have you fill out a hurt feelings report and submit that to my office.

I think WCH still sells the motor-driven mechanical. It was in their catalog the last time I checked.
Hang on....yep. Motor-Drive Model #0555. I might see how much they want for one of those. For historical purposes.

You think your car gets bad mileage? SP 4449 consumes 10 gallons of bunker oil and 100 gallons of water every mile.

It will probably cost you a pretty penny for one of those.

I'm pretty sure the Broadway St. #6 crossing in Green Bay is out of service. They do still switch the tracks seen in picture 5 on Broadway St. #7. I wish I could have caught them doing it but they never did while I was there.

There are two of these bells at the Highway 20 crossing in East Troy, Wisconsin.

Forgot about those! I just found out about them recently thanks to GSV. The METR is high on my list of places to check out next summer!

Video to come tomorrow or Monday. Don't get too excited, because they don't sound a whole lot different from ordinary mechanical bells.

Sorry guys, video is going to have to wait due to today and Sunday being a lot busier than expected. I only got partway done with one video from Saturday so far. A lot of editing to do from riding/railfanning the East Troy Electric, then fanning the CN and WSOR.

Finally got it done. The scene with the bells is from 1:30 to 2:01.
